Live Food Information

Live food is 'Plant Based nutrition', LIFE promotes LIFE

-"Feed a person a sprout they live for a day, teach
-them to sprout and they eat for life and can teach

-No animal cooks their food, only humans do

-Cooked/heated nuts, seeds and grains will not sprout
-or grow. They have no life force

-Cooked food will not compost properly, only creates
-maggots and acid imbalance in compost

-Cooked food takes more energy to digest than it gives
-back in nutritional energy

-Cooking food destroys nutrients and eating raw you
-need half as much food. Eat raw, eat less and live
-longer!

-Eating cooked food leads to nutritional deficiencies
-because the mucoid plaque coating our intestines won't
-allow for proper and full absorption of nutrients

-Cooking food is the biggest waste of resources on the
-planet and cooking destroys so much nutrition that all
-the time, labor and resources are literally wasted.

THE FOUR LIVING FOOD GROUPS

'FRESH/RAW FOODS' - Represents the element of WATER

-50-70% of daily intake

-Eat BIOLOGICAL/ORGANIC, REGIONALLY, BIODYNAMIC,
-VEGANIC***

-Fresh foods are life giving foods and very alive.
-The more alive the better(farm, farmers markets, etc.)

-Fresh foods are a vital source of 'organic water'***
-and increases the bodies hydration levels and helps
-bring nutrients in to cells and carry toxins away from
-cells


'SPROUTED FOODS' - Represents the element of AIR

-20% of daily intake

-Sprouted foods are any type of seed, nut, grain or
-bean that has been soaked in water, exposed to
-indirect sunlight*** and air and if rinsed 2 X***
-daily it will form a new plant beginning with a sprout

-Sprouted foods are regenerating and cleansing, helps
-oxygenate the blood & cells

-Very high in chlorophyll

-Very vital and alive. Sprouts have most amount of
-energy at anytime in plants life and the most
-chlorophyll. One of the most abundant sources of
-life-force on the planet.

-Help build new cells and rejuvenate the body

-Provides the body with additional oxygen and
-oxygenates the bloodstream

-Sprouts are economical. For less than 1Euro in seeds
-you can grow a salad for two people

-Growing sprouts are ecological. They help support
-sustainable living. By growing our own food we do our
-part to work with nature to create life.

-Growing sprouts maximizes resources such as water and
-seeds to produce a source of nutrition and oxygen

-Sprouts are brain food. They give us balanced
-oxygen, sugars and minerals that are what our brain
-needs to function properly

-Wheatgrass has NO Gluten

-Do not use or drink soak water from any seed, nut,
-grain or bean (rejuvalac***). The soak water can be
-used to water plants as they love it!

-Coconut is a seed. Each coconut has the potential to
-produce a tree which can produce up to 10,000 coconuts
-in its lifetime. We must plant many coconut trees.

-Best grains (if eaten) are quinoa and millet

-Primary nuts and seeds recommended for a live food
-diet are: sesame, pumpkin, sunflower, flax, chia,
-almonds and of course hemp. Walnuts, Brazil nuts, mac
-nuts, and pistachios can be soaked but will not sprout.


'CULTURED FOODS'
***(not fermented) - Represents the element of FIRE

-10% of daily intake

-Cultured food is any type of food that has friendly
-bacteria introduced into it. Friendly bacteria helps
-to break down food making the nutrients bio-available
-and gives us the vital parts from the food that we
-need. Cultured food allows for more and better
-digestion of food

-A higher concentration of good bacteria allows for
-both higher and faster absorption of food

-A strong concentration of friendly bacteria will also
-maintain a healthy balance within the intestines and
-will not leave room for unfriendly bacteria to grow

-Cultured food protects the body from foreign
-invaders***

-Provides digestive fire which can burn out easily***
-when too much Yin raw food is eaten

-Mothers milk is the original cultured food.

-Most acidophillis sold in stores is non-usable and
-wasted. Need live bacteria only

-Cultured food is very energizing

-Don't touch metal to any cultured food as it will
-oxidize the food and cause other problems, use wood or
-chopsticks.

-Only give good energy to Kim Chee, lots of LOVE***


'DRIED FOODS' - Represents the element of EARTH

-10% of daily intake

-Dried food is any food that has had its water
-partially or fully removed.

-Is grounding and sustaining. It helps slow down the
-metabolism.

-It is comfort food and great for transitioning.

-Lasts longer and can be re-hydrated. Drying food
-allows us to store food for lengthy periods giving us
-access to flavors that may not be in season at the
-time. Most fruits and veggies should be re-hydrated
-B4 using water. (save soak water from things but not
-everything)

-Food is 2 to 3 times more nutrient concentrated, more
-intense in flavor

-When dehydrating humidity can be main factor. Make
-desiccation system* if humidity problem

-Dehydrate foods at temps of less than 108F/41C.

-Normally a person needs to be more hydrated when
-eating more dehydrated foods.

-All seeds, nuts, oils, grains and beans which are
-sold 'raw' are actually dried foods

-Many seeds require drying in order to later sprout.
-Without this concentration of energy and nutrients
-they may not grow.


DESSERTS


-Desserts are 'feel good' and comfort food.

-Desserts are transition food and make transitioning
-alot easier

-Dessert is a fun way to start eating raw.

-Many people become 'dessertarians' eating all or
-mostly just raw desserts

-Desserts can be made very beautiful and are
-incredibly tasty. Everyone loves them!


TRANSITIONING


-Go raw/live out of LOVE, not fear. Love yourself and
-your problems, even your parasites. They are your
-teachers.

-People are different, some need shorter time some
-longer. Average from cooked to 100% is 2 years when
-on the S.tandard A.merican D.iet. Fasting and
-cleansing, green juice, mineralization, Noni, no
-Candida, massage and various healing methods (enemas
-and colonics), etc. can speed up this process
-tremendously. Yoga and Meditation are also very
-helpful, especially deep breathing.
--
-The cleaner and healthier the body is to begin with
-the quicker and easier the transition

-Through fasting and cleansing the body can be rebuilt
-quicker

-Dried food is closest to cooked food so it can be
-most helpful in transitioning

-It is better to drink green juice than fruit juice

-It may be best to stabilize at 80% live, then 90%,
-then 95%, then 99%, then perhaps 100% if it feels
-right.

-We want to avoid the 'Yo-Yo' effect which is doing
-100% live then binge eating on cooked food then back
-to 100% and so on.

-Take a close look at the other 1% (or whatever is
-still cooked in the diet) and -determine from where the
-addiction comes.

-Look for a live food support group in your area which
-can provide a much needed support system including the
-possibility of connecting with like-minded souls.

'Transitioning Tips'

-Better to feel good about food than eat good food and
-feel bad about it

-Self judgment is not good and can be very harmful and
-cause health problems

-Take time and be patient

-Keep within your 'comfort zone'

-Eat the foods you enjoy and add to and accentuate the
-positive

-Fatty foods can be a bridge. Durian, avocado,
-olives, nuts and seeds, etc.

-Take the best and leave the rest

-Start the day raw with a smoothie and then salad for
-lunch and see how far you can go

-Eat one new raw food (i.e. try all the amazing
-fruits) every day and try new foods

-Always make the best choice. Eat that which has the
-most lifeforce

-Go on wild forages and familiarize yourself with the
-local things growing, check out the farmers markets
-and talk to people

-Educate yourself, knowledge is power

-Have lots of raw food dinners and potlucks


LIVE FOOD AWARENESS

-Wild rice is NOT raw. It is heat treated to 300
-Degrees F and then turns dark from amber color. It
-could be considered a 'non-raw' but transition food
-simply because it doesn't need to be cooked so it can
-get people away from cooking food.

-Thai coconuts and other imported coconuts are dipped
-into formaldehyde and their water has been known to have
-contaminants present. The green imported cocos are OK

-Cashews are not raw, the shells are heated. Natures
-First Law sells raw ones

-Maple Syrup is not raw, no syrups are raw. There are
-questions about the Agave being sold as 'Raw'

-Nuts, seeds, grains and beans are all stored. Be
-careful to buy fresh or only use non-stored such as
-Buckwheat and Quinoa

-Nut butters are not usually raw because the equipment
-heats up to excess of 130 F when processing. Only one
-brand in the states (Rejuvanative Foods) has really
-raw and even that is questionable. When in doubt make
-it yourself!

-Most Nori is not 'fish-free' and the flakes are heated.

-Supplements are questionable. Better off investing
-in higher quality (organic) food.

-Frozen food destroys 30-66% of the
enzymes.
-Berries are more tolerant.

-Alfalfa is a hybrid food, so stay away from these
-seeds and sprouts

-Mushrooms are grown in the dark and are not directly
-nourished by the sun. They are a fungus so eating
-them is not good for Candida related conditions.

WATER

-Only 'organic' water is really usable by the bodies
-cells for re-hydration. Coconut water and juices are
-the best way to get hydration on cellular level.
-Charging water is crucial. Pouring into glass a few
-times, Crystals, sunlight, pyramids, love and other
-power words, altar for water, sound and vibration,
-lemon also

-Carbonation causes gas and bloating


SEEDLESS FRUITS

-Bananas, seedless grapes, seedless oranges,
-pineapple, seedless watermelon, etc. These fruits are
-almost always GMO, artificial and loaded with hybrid
-sugar.


UNRIPE FRUITS AND VEGGIES
-
-Watch out for unripe fruits and veggies. Green
-peppers, green tomatoes, green olives and generally
-any green fruit is unripe. Harder to tell with veggies.


GARLIC

-Remove core of Garlic as it causes gas and
-indigestion and is not digestible

-Use 1/3 to 1/2 as much in Live recipes


HONEY

-Never heat, warming is OK

-Only use wood, never metal. Mixing bowls and
-Vita-mix are exception but still not the best option.


OIL


-Never heat, when transitioning use apple juice for
-cooking


SHOYU/SOY SAUCE

-Not good for advance live food diets. Problem with
-Candida.

-Almost all Soy is GMO these days unless it
-specifically says.


SALT

-Good salt is good and necessary for hydration, bad
-salt is harmful

-Types of salt. Sea salt (what oceans are clean),
-salts harvested from land, Himalayan crystal salt


FOOD COMBINING

-There are basic tips but everyone is different so
-know what works for you

-Simplicity. Less is better (and sometimes more) in
-Live food.

-Stress slows digestion down

***TIPS***

-Melons (eat them alone, they digest in 15 minutes!)

-Eat fruits before veggies and other food as they
-digest very fast

-Eat fruit only one hour before or after a meal or
-else it will push everything else out

-Eat sugars only one hour before or after a meal. No
-desert right after dinner. Wait

-Only eat until you are 80% full. Leave room for
-digestion and desert!

-Eat only when hungry

-Be patient when you eat and take a breath. Try to
-visualize where the food came from. The sun on it,
-the water, the air and the earth. The farmer who
-lovingly grew the organic produce and the happy
-workers who helped get that food to you.

-Eat nuts and seeds moderately, but ONLY soaked and/or
-sprouted

-Know your foods and their usages


RAINBOW BABIES

-Breast milk is the perfect live food for babies.
-Whenever possible breast milk should be the main
-dietary component for the first year of life or
-longer. Do not use formulas. Around 6 months you can
-introduce solid food into diet but it must be warmed,
-blended and with certain warming spices added (ginger,
-cardamom, cilantro, cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg,
-peppermint and chamomile in moderation. The best ones
-are ginger and cardamom). To warm food place blended
-food on stove until warm to touch but no more. Or
-place in dehydrator for two hours at 108. No soy for
-babies as it is particularly harmful.
-
-Sesame seeds are the best source of calcium of any
-nuts or seeds. Make sesame milk.
